Senior Channel Sales Manager

Role Summary:
The Senior Channel Sales Manager will drive mms’s channel sales strategy by developing, optimizing, and managing strategic relationships with resellers, partners, and distributors. You will play an instrumental role in expanding our market reach, growing revenue through indirect channels, and ensuring partners are equipped, engaged, and successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies that align with mms’s business goals and revenue targets.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and nurture new channel partners, including resellers, VARs, and technology partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, supporting them with training, product knowledge, and marketing initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts, incentive programs, and terms with partners.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and compliance teams to develop partner campaigns and ensure messaging consistency.
- Monitor and analyze partner performance, sales data, and market trends to optimize growth strategies.
- Resolve partner issues, ensure compliance with industry regulations (TCPA, CCPA, GDPR, etc.), and facilitate smooth operations.
- Manage the indirect sales pipeline including partner lead routing, opportunity management, and forecast accuracy.
- Represent mms at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years experience in channel sales management in messaging or CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service).
- Proven track record of building and scaling successful channel programs.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and influencer skills.
- Deep understanding of messaging technologies (SMS, MMS, RCS, APIs) and compliance frameworks (TCPA, carrier regulations).
- Analytical skills to interpret partner sales data and trends.
- Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
